Tyler has invited some of her fashion designer friends's into town for shopping - and, of course, a chance to get Gene's autograph! Look who was seen in the town's dance studio the weekend that "Anna Christie" opened! None other than rival Madra sporting a silver leotard under a multi-colored circle skirt. The matching bandeau helped to keep her hair in place (even movie stars need to exercise).
The dance outfit is imported by Kingstate; this set includes the pants and jacket modeled by Mei Li, white heels and the silver soft boots worn by Madra. Both outfits fit Gene, Alex and Tyler dolls.

It's time to relax and have an evening out with some of Gene's visiting Hollywood friends. Our Gene model looks very striking in her lacy cocktail dress! The dress is intervoven with silver threads for a lovely shine; it's worn over a delicate pink charmeuse slip. This complete outfit includes golden pumps plus pink nylons and panties which aren't shown. Her lovely necklace and earrings are also included - tiny beads in crystal, pink, silver and red. This stunning outfit was what Regina Wentworth wore when she iterviewed for the Costume Designer and Wardrobe Mistress position . . . and had the Director speechless! She explained that it was the result of a design assignment that requirred her to use an unusual fabric - she chose leather. The lined black coat has a collar, buttons, pockets, a vent in back and some unusual seam details. The matching black skirt has a raised waistband; it snaps in back. Underneath Regina is wearing a red jersey top with long sleves; it also snaps in back. As accents for her outfit (she did earn the highest marks for this creation) Regina chose red tinted sheer stockings, red "suede" heels and red dangling earrings with matching necklace. Definitely a show stopper . . . and she got the job!
